Who We Are & What We Do

PHarMed Import & Export Pte Ltd was established in 1984 dealing with pharmaceuticals and health care products. It started with a humble retail shopfront in Fu Lu Shou Complex. What began as an import and export trading business with Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei also built itself as a trusted retail pharmacy in the Rochor / Bugis area. With a conviction in providing quality products and services, and a commitment to honesty and fair trading, many of our customers soon formed a loyal customer base.

With time, the range of products available in the retail store grew exponentially, featuring several top healthcare brands in the market. Our product SKU covered pharmaceuticals, supplements, skin and personal care, and medical devices like wheelchairs and walking aids. Today, PHarMed is also active in the wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and dermaceutical products. PHarMed’s wholesale distribution business in the Singapore market started in 1992 when we brought in Palmer’s®, the much-loved skincare range from the United States. Palmer’s® is now a widely-known brand in Singapore, easily available at chain pharmacies, personal care stores, independent beauty stores, major department stores and even hospitals and polyclinics.

Concurrently with Palmer’s®, PHarMed also brought in medicinal products from Europe and started to distribute them to hospitals, specialists centres and private clinics. Since then, we have brought in a varied range of pharmaceuticals (such as Utrogestan® and Oestrogel®), supplements (including adults and children dietary supplements) and also personal-use medical devices exclusively distributed via the Medical Professionals network. We are currently still serving customers at our retail outlet, bringing you convenience and personalised services in sourcing products for your health care needs.

Our Future Plans

PHarMed constantly sources for new, quality products to increase our product portfolio. We will continue to do international sourcing to bring in innovative health care products catering to the health care needs of Singaporeans. There are also plans to increase our international presence through exporting our house brand products to more countries in the region.Other than continuing to improve on our current distribution channels, growing our presence in the online platform is also another priority. Some of the well-received products that are exclusively distributed by PHarMed is now available via our very own Online Shop in our website, on top of other ecommerce platforms such as Lazada and Redmart.
 
PHarMed will continue to offer bespoke sourcing services to help our customers find unique products or medical equipment. We believe by providing this personal touch to our customers, we are able to build long term relationships and truly value add to our customers’ experience.
